Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods , Building & Construction and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.12%.

The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Cellnex Telecom SA (BME: CLNX ), which rose 2.94% or 0.91 points to trade at 31.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Inmobiliaria Colonial SA (BME: COL ) added 1.37% or 0.08 points to end at 5.53 and Puig Brands SA (BME: PUIGb ) was up 1.31% or 0.24 points to 18.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Repsol (BME: REP ), which fell 3.20% or 0.42 points to trade at 12.71 at the close. Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME: ITX ) declined 2.60% or 1.40 points to end at 52.44 and Grifols SA (BME: GRLS ) was down 1.81% or 0.17 points to 9.31.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 102 to 95 and 23 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.15% or 4.44 to $2,951.66 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.15% or 1.56 to hit $70.92 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 2.01% or 1.54 to trade at $74.94 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.43% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.22% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.58.
