Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which rose 6.22% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) added 3.69% or 3.85 points to end at 108.05 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) was up 1.99% or 0.23 points to 11.51 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ), which fell 3.28% or 3.70 points to trade at 109.00 at the close. Var Energi ASA (OL: VAR ) declined 2.37% or 0.78 points to end at 32.08 and Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ) was down 1.92% or 3.50 points to 178.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 127 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.30% or 0.21 to $68.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.43% or 0.31 to hit $72.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 9.51 to trade at $2,928.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.29% to 11.71, while USD/NOK rose 0.35% to 11.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.30.
