Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms , Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.25%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE: NOKIA ), which rose 5.62% or 0.26 points to trade at 4.89 at the close. Meanwhile, KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) added 2.92% or 1.58 points to end at 55.78 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ) was up 2.83% or 0.10 points to 3.67 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ), which fell 2.13% or 0.39 points to trade at 17.89 at the close. Kojamo (HE: KOJAMO ) declined 1.30% or 0.12 points to end at 9.12 and Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) was down 1.23% or 0.19 points to 14.91.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE: NOKIA ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.62% or 0.26 to 4.89. Shares in KONE Oyj (HE: KNEBV ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.92% or 1.58 to 55.78.

Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.23% or 0.17 to $72.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.37% or 0.26 to hit $69.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.87% or 53.29 to trade at $2,901.79 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was up 1.16% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.03% at 106.46.
