Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Construction , Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Gr Sarantis SA (AT: SRSr ), which rose 5.88% or 0.72 points to trade at 12.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Kri-Kri Milk (AT: KRIr ) added 2.31% or 0.35 points to end at 15.50 and Coca Cola HBC AG (AT: EEEr ) was up 1.64% or 0.66 points to 40.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT: EURBr ), which fell 3.11% or 0.08 points to trade at 2.49 at the close. Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (AT: OTEr ) declined 2.42% or 0.37 points to end at 14.94 and Piraeus Port (AT: OLPr ) was down 2.12% or 0.70 points to 32.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 58 to 52 and 27 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.06% or 1.79 to $2,924.81 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 1.63% or 1.08 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 1.68% or 1.17 to trade at $70.63 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.76% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.42% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 103.61.
