Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.24% to hit a new 3-months low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: NIBEb ), which rose 1.58% or 0.60 points to trade at 37.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) added 0.75% or 0.60 points to end at 82.90 and Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ) was up 0.66% or 0.14 points to 21.29 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ), which fell 7.47% or 12.40 points to trade at 153.65 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ) declined 4.10% or 16.60 points to end at 387.20 and AB SKF B (ST: SKFb ) was down 3.85% or 7.80 points to 194.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 498 to 255 and 74 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.38% or 0.27 to $71.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.23% or 0.17 to hit $74.66 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 19.86 to trade at $3,165.86 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.50% to 10.76, while USD/SEK fell 1.10% to 9.90.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 103.42.
