Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology , Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.23%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which rose 7.97% or 32.70 points to trade at 443.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE: DANSKE ) added 4.86% or 9.50 points to end at 203.70 and NKT Holding (CSE: NKT ) was up 4.60% or 20.20 points to 459.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: NOVOb ), which fell 0.02% or 0.10 points to trade at 434.10 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) added 0.07% or 0.20 points to end at 269.40 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE: JYSK ) was up 0.17% or 0.80 points to 483.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 23 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.28% or 0.17 to $60.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.39% or 0.25 to hit $63.96 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 49.21 to trade at $3,022.81 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.47.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 102.97.
