United Airlines (UAL) rose 6.75% after its quarterly results and guidance topped consensus. It also issued strong EPS guidance for the year, along with ’recessionary scenario guidance.
- United Airline’s peers Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL ) and American Airlines (NASDAQ: AAL ) traded higher in sympathy following UAL’s strong results.
Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR ) fell 3% it reported lackluster EPS in the first quarter. Interactive Brokers also announced a four-for-one forward split of its common stock.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT) fell 4.9% after it reported first quarter results, despite a beat on the top on bottom line. Truckload revenue decreased 7% compared to the same period in the previous year.
