Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials , Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Lisbon, the PSI fell 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the PSI were Ibersol SGPS (ELI: IBS ), which rose 1.59% or 0.14 points to trade at 8.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI: RENE ) added 1.43% or 0.04 points to end at 2.84 and EDP Energias de Portugal SA (ELI: EDP ) was up 0.77% or 0.03 points to 3.27 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI: MOTA ), which fell 7.61% or 0.27 points to trade at 3.25 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI: BCP ) declined 1.90% or 0.01 points to end at 0.54 and EDP Renovaveis (ELI: EDPR ) was down 0.46% or 0.04 points to 7.64.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 13 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for June delivery was up 3.04% or 2.00 to $67.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 3.31% or 2.07 to hit $64.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 34.40 to trade at $3,312.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.86.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 99.25.
